We have computers that can put information into grids for us, count faster than we ever could. and do complex math functions in a fraction of a second, but no computer can ever replicate the creativity the human brain uses to solve problems. So as parents and teachers in the 21st centurv. we have to have a broader view of intelligence, a view that focuses on supporting our children's talents; allows them to be creative, independent thinkers; and feeds their curiosity. If our view of intelligence focuses on test scores and ingesting tons of information, we have lost the vitality that makes tor real human intelligence.
